Concerning vegetables, pay close attention to the the amount of time required between the last application and harvest.

Gardeners willing to tolerate some insect damage can generally grow their plants with minimal use of insecticides. Some insects are always on the move – here today and gone tomorrow – and do very little serious or long-term damage during their short visit. A few others others will stick around for a while and may cause serious damage to plants and lawn grasses if left unchecked.
